Chelsea captain John Terry, was not offered a contract extension and will leave the west London club at the end of the season.
The 35-year-old defender joined Chelsea since he was 14 years old and with Chelsea won four Premier League champions, five FA Cups and one Champions League.
"Ideally I still want to stay (here), but the club stir in the other direction," he said.
Terry -who have strengthened as much as 696 times-Chelsea still want to continue his career in football but not to join the Premier League club.
"I can not play with another Premier League club. But certainly in other places," said the former captain of the England national team.
"I still feel in good shape, I played well and still have a few more years. But in other places."
During the 2015-2016 season so far, although Terry is rarely revealed in previous seasons he has become a mainstay on the Chelsea rearguard.
"It's not a beautiful story ended. I did not retire at Chelsea and needed a few days to be able to receive it," he said
